HARTLEPOOL HEADLAND 17, SEPT 2022.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed over to Hartlepool Headland as soon as their Seaton Sands walk was completed.
Beach Buoy had seen the waves crashing over the Heugh.
He parked up at the end of the road where his Father had been born.
Although it was a windy day, the wind was from the north.
On days like this, the houses on the Headland act as one big wind break.

A fisherman fished on the lower level as waves crashed over The Heugh Pier.

Beach Buoy picked a bench.
He sat.

He wandered along to the north, passing the Pier where his Great Grandfather would ring the fog bell.

Dramatic photographs were easy pickings as nature did all of the preparation.

A group of people were sat near the lighthouse.
Large cameras pointed to something?
The something wasn't the waves crashing.
Beach Buoy presumed that they were birdwatchers?
Searching for another to tick from their list?

Just beyond the lighthouse.....

Captured.

Beach Buoy chatted to a lady.
Their digs has stopped to greet one another.
Hers was a lovely pup.
"What is it?."
"A Beagledoodle. "

Beach Buoy passed the Heugh once more as he headed back to the van.
He recalled a childhood memory.
A camera for a birthday.
A trip to a wave battered Pier.
A man with a camera.
An appearance on the front page of the local press.

What would he tell that teenage Beach Buoy?

BEACH BUOY.
