Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 6-10 p m.
A group stood in the car park.
They seemed to be waiting for something to happen?
It was raining, only spitting but it was raining.
Thankfully there was a reversal of last night's events.
The rain stopped.
The group set off on a promenade walk, heading north.
Two surfers left the sea behind.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog left the car park behind.
A full double rainbow arced right across the bay.
There was no one around.
The beach and the rainbow was theirs
The clouds were wonderful.
They headed south.
The tide was high.
They walked the narrowing beach towards Stubborn Dog Stack.
The sandy slope had gained a step thanks to the wave action.
"Evening Mate. "
Beach Buoy added the couple of beach stones that he managed to find on the sandy narrow beach.
He patted
THE
stone.
He stood watching the angry sea.
"See you mate. "
They headed back to the sandy slope.
The sea had claimed more of the dunes.
They followed their own meandering prints back.
Theirs were the only prints now.
Light was on the last bus home.
They headed up the access ramp, back to the van.
