Beach Buoy had been to work.
He had been off for seven weeks.
It had been a tough few months of late.
He'd known worse, but it really had been tough.
Today had been the first day of an agreed gradual return to work.
Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog reached the beach at around 6-14 p.m.
There was breeze from the south west.
The Sun was shining.
A man headed for the access ramp with a large grey bucketful of beach sand.
There wasn't many Dogs around this evening.
There was one lone ****
They reached Stubborn Dog Stack at 6-50 p.m.
"Evening Mate."
said Beach Buoy
as he placed beach stones and patted
THE
rock.
Another Dog had another dig followed by a roll near to the stack.
They didn't stay too long as there was lady down on the beach near to the stack, in a yoga type position , looking out to Sea.
She deserved some peace and privacy of her own.
So it was a
"See you later Mate."
and they were off to the north, via the beach.
The tide was a lot more out, than it was in.
They walked the water's edge.
Beach Buoy waved goodbye to Stubborn Dog Stack from the beach below.
A low, but slight mist seemed to drift over the Village to the north from the sea.
People milled around.
The beach would fill up more as the Sunday carried on.
BITS AND BOBS.
BEACH BUOY

I like an atmospheric mist. Another Dog sounds as though she was happy to be on the beach, if she was having a roll in the sand. Eventful week for you, back at work (even though on a phased return) and dog sitting. Perhaps you were exhausted enough to finally catch 40 winks?
ReplyDeleteAnother Dog loves the beach. I did sleep for four hours after the day at work.
ReplyDeletethat was a first for 7 weeks.
A huge step forward to get back to work. Lovely evening walk with the first signs of autumnal mists. You have the ideal company.
ReplyDeleteThank you. Resisting the urge to push too much. So beach is ideal place to slow down.
