Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived at 6 a.m.
There was one car in the car park.
A short-haired lady headed to the promenade end at the south before turning 180 degrees and returning to the north.
Two distant swimmers were at the sea.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed to the water's edge.
Two thirds of the bay had cloud cover, the remainder was clear blue sky.
There would be a belated "Sunrise." once the sun had cleared the cloud.
They headed south.
There was a strange line in the water.
It looked like fresh water was meeting sea water?
The 7 a.m. club caught them up.
Beach Buoy made a fuss of Mari the Poodle.
"Have you had a haircut?" Beach Buoy asked the puzzled dog.
"She's had a tuppeny all off."
explained her owner.
Another, Another Dog photo shoot took place as she danced around on her two back legs.
Goodbyes were said.
The 7 a.m. club headed south.
Beach Buoy headed to Stubborn Dog Stack via the easy slope.
"Morning Mate."
Six stones were added.
THE
stone was patted.
Nearby two small birds pecked at the dune grass seed heads.
The heads were covered in small black insects; breakfast.
Another Dog had had another dig.
Beach Buoy's attention was drawn to the sea.
Gannets fell from the sky.
Dolphins appeared.
Perfect company for a beach walk.
Beach Buoy waited for the Dolphin activity to end before heading back to the van.
Beach Buoy drank coffee in the van as he recorded the bits and bobs.
He made beach notes
The Lady who checks Parking Meters for returned coins, (Let's call her Rita?)
did the rounds of the car park meters.
No change there then.
An ageing man arrived in a sports car, a convertible, the roof was down.
The music was up!
He parked almost alongside Beach Buoy in a vast, almost empty car park....
Another Dog slept through it all.
A photographer headed down the access ramp with a tripod resting on his right shoulder.
Beach Buoy swam in coffee, dried before leaving stage right.
BEACH BUOY.
