MON 30 AUG 2021, SEATON SANDS , AN EVENING VISIT .

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed back to the beach for an evening visit.

They reached the beach at 6-02 p.m.

Free Parking starts at 6.

The sea was grey, the sky was a darker shade of the same.

They headed for the beach.

Another Dog sat in the beach bag as she was in a bit of a lazy mood.

She is growing quickly, so the beach bag option days are already numbered.

There was a family down by the water's edge.

One of the children held a very very orange and even more optimistic  bucket and spade.

They headed south.

A curved dark line of storm-torn seaweed seemed to mourn the passing of the last strand line.

Thankfully Another Dog decided it was time to walk.

Beach Buoy collected a few suitable stones for

Stubborn Dog Stack.

They headed up to see Beach Buoy's old friend.
"Evening Mate."
He placed the stones on the stack, trying to keep a balanced shape to the stack as he did so.
He patted
THE
stone.
They let the northerly wind blow some of their cares away.

The dune grass shied away from the very same wind.
Beach  Buoy faced it head on.

"See you mate."
They were heading back along the beach.

On the way back they were overtaken by a couple of evening beach regulars  with their black greyhound, sketched with the sharpest of
HB pencils.

They dawdled along and tried to enjoy every step of the walk back.
Like anything you can never know which time will be the last time.

They sat in the van.

Another Dog nodded.

Beach Buoy drank coffee and dug out some recent bits and bobs.
