SUNDAY 01 AUGUST 2021.SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL

Sunday morning saw Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog reach the beach at 5-35 a.m.

Beach Buoy was wanting to capture the rays of sunlight, incase the light changed.

He leant on the Promenade Wall to photograph the horizon.

A Random Gull decided to photobomb the scene!

They headed for the beach.

There was breeze from the north west.

The tide was more in than it was out.

They headed south with the breeze on their backs.

A Bay to the left and sandy dunes to the right.

The Distant Wave Lady and her Friendly Dog were well south, opposite Stubborn Dog Stack.

It was 6-17 a.m. by the time Beach Buoy was patting

THE

stone

and saying

"Morning Mate."

He added beach stones.

Another Dog made a less enthusiastic attempt at digging near

Stubborn Dog Stack that she had done on previous visits.

Introduction complete?

The gaps in the dune grass lead the way to the Dune edge, where, at times Beach Buoy would sit and think, both before and after Stubborn Dog had passed, usually with a coffee and always memories for company.

"See you mate."

They headed for the beach.

It turned out that there was no need to rush to capture the rays of sunlight from the Promenade earlier.

The light show had continued, but seemed to travel south to the big lights of the south as it did so.

The tide was still low enough to allow access via the beach to Sand
Martin Corner, alongside North Gare Pier.
Beach Buoy decided to leave it for another time and began a slow walk back to the Village and van.
The Sun broke through.
They now had full Sun and a choppy light blue sea for company.
A Distant Fog Horn (Buzzer) sounded out from the south side of the Bay, though no fog was noticeable from Seaton Sands.

Upon reaching the Promenade, Beach Buoy photographed some beach-cleaned Trapogge Balls before placing them into a nearby bin.

Once in the van, the kettle went on.

Nearby, some sea swimmers stood at the backs of their vehicles as they squeezed into their rubber swim suits.

They did so under the watchful eyes of the lady who doing her rounds, checking the Parking Meters for returned coins with her dog for company.

The kettle boiled.

Coffee was drank as Promenade People passed.

Beach Buoy moved the van to another car park.

Another Coffee.

Another View.

A hard-working Council worker drove along the Promenade, emptying the Promenade Bins.
Starlings followed him to and from the wagon, like trained Budgies.

BEACH BUOY.
