Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach car park at
6-20 p.m.
He faffed on a bit before heading for the beach.
There was a strong breeze from the north.
Beach Buoy walked directly to the sea as if he was wanting to tell it a story.
It was the sea that spoke.
They headed south with a breeze on their backs and a sea on their left.
The tide was much more in than it was out.
A Dead Tern turned in the shallows, as the sea rolled it to shore.
Large Brown Jellyfish were scattered along the strand line.
They looked almost electronic with complicated wiring.
Another Dog chased sea foam ghosts.
They headed to Stubborn Dog Stack.
"Evening Mate."
He added three stones and patted
THE
stone.
A couple stood nearby on the dune edge.
They looked at the sea as though they had a story to tell it.
It was the Sea that spoke.

I suppose evening walks will gradually shorten. I’d love to live within the sound of the beach speaking. Can always hear it at my usual campsite, Dunstan Hill. Beadnell in October where it’s just yards away.
ReplyDeleteLove the sound of the sea.
DeleteIt's always the sea that speaks, either calming or angry. Sounds like Ruby was having fun, chasing sea foam ghosts. Sad that you saw a dead Turn and the jelly fish (you'll have to be careful that neither you or Ruby get stung - just read about dogs getting stung by jellyfish). Atmospheric photos.
ReplyDeleteThank you. She is on lead always for now and maybe always anyway.
