SEATON SANDS 06 APRIL 2019.

Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog hit the beach
around  7-10 am.

Beach Buoy had been up since 4-35am.
There was one lone Seagull stood in the centre of the car park, looking a little lost.
Beach Buoy locked the van and headed off whistling the tune of
IF YOU WERE THE ONLY GIRL IN THE WORLD AND I AS THE ONLY BOY..
in his head he swapped Gull for Girl and Buoy for Boy.
The Seagull flew off; beach bound.
They walked to the water's edge, then south.
The sea was calmer,  more annoyed than angry it seemed to be a different viscosity to the norm; slower, more lumbering waves.

It was 7-25 am.
The 7am club were on their way back from the south end of the beach.
Their paths would cross soon and when it did it was the small chocolate brown dog that won the race for a neck scratch. Shortly afterwards Mari the big friendly poodle muscled in for a turn.

"Mornings" were exchanged and they were gone.

Another seal; a smaller one than yesterday.
Beach Buoy used the zoom to obtain a close-up, so as not to disturb it.
Beach Buoy is a mile and three quarters from being an expert but the seal looked well.

The sky looked dappled out at sea as a glimpse of a colourful jogger went by up in a break in the dunes to the west.

They turned at the grey rocks and headed back, with a skylark to the west and the sea to the east.
At the van Beach Buoy sat with the side door open as he changed form beach boots into civvies.
He sat for a while mid-boot change with no boots on.
The cold air was refreshing on his aching stockinged feet.
It felt like he was sitting by a chilled river in bare feet after a long day walking.
BEACH BUOY.
