05 APRIL 2019. SEATON SANDS....

Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog
arrived 6-01 pm.
The car parking charges ended at 6-00 pm......

He sat in the van, looking at the light blue sky, the dark blue sea, underlined as it was by the promenade wall.
Beach Buoy was tired.
He had been up since 1-18 am.
He could have quite easily have just made a cuppa and just sat, admire the view with a little bit of people watching thrown in for good luck....
A man cycled south.
There was a child carrying seat over his rear mudguard, but no child.
The man circled and paused with one foot up on a bench. He was wearing bright white headphones.
He rested a while, then cycled off rhythmically to sound of a beat; heavy metal by the looks of things, as he head-banged north.
Hopefully the child seat had been empty since he had set off?
Sitting there wasn't cutting the mustard with Stubborn Dog.
Beach Buoy had a beach boot fight and they were off!
Well the boots were now on, it was Beach Buoy and his little  mate who were off; out into the real world were people in cars would sit and people watch you.
The wind was cold as it blew off a raging sea.

They headed South.
A number of people in the distance had already been there and bought the Tee-shirt.

Beach Buoy noticed a large piece of "driftwood" ahead close to the water's edge.
The large piece of "driftwood" grew a head and turned in to
a seal.
He was resting.
Beach Buoy gave him a wide
berth so that they didn't disturb him.

He bounced up and down on his belly, turning as he did so so that he could keep an eye or two on them as they passed .

There was a haze in the Bay that did a good job of hiding the Wind Turbines and Hartlepool Headland too.

Slow walk back.

Even a double yoke Sun
failed to warm the beach.

They headed back to the car park.
A boy racer spun his car around and in doing so he took a couple of hundred miles of tread off his tyres.

BEACH BUOY.
