Saturday.
It had been a cold night.
Another Dog had no intention of heading out.
So Beach Buoy and Borrowed Dog were going to set off on foot.
The pavement was way too slippery.
They drove to Seaton Park.
Rita the meter maid was braving the cold air to walk her usual route.
Beach Buoy and Borrowed Dog crossed over to The Esplanade.
Down the access ramp at the beach huts.
They were on the frosty beach for 8-34 a.m.
The north, towards The Village Green.
The Village Christmas Tree has been toppled.
It was laid on The Esplanade, waiting for collection.
Beach Buoy and Borrowed Dog head south.
They stopped to chat to Team One Black Ear.
Team One Black Ear still has a Borrowed Dog too, Milo.
Hugo aka One Black Ear came over for a back scratch.
They went their separate ways.
Borrowed Dog leads the way.
Sun hidden in low cloud.
The lady with a White Labrador and a Black Labrador was setting off along the dune edge.
Three joggers went by along the water's edge.
The final one broke into a walk.
It was another calm day with a rough sea.
The tide was high enough to claim the wreck.
Beach rocks rolled and rumbled as the sea ran in.
Frosty dune edge.
Beach Buoy chatted to the man with a Spaniel who once had a Beagle.
They went their separate ways.
Beach Buoy and Borrowed Dog walked a frosty low level route to Stubborn Dog Stack.
"Morning Mate."
It was 9-26 a.m.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
The driftwood plank with plenty of rust had plenty of frost too.
So Beach Buoy stood watching the sea.
"See you mate."
They returned to the beach.
The man with three dogs who once had four was heading south.
"Morning."
"Morning."
Others headed south.
Beach Buoy faffed with photograph filters.
Sea foam rushed in but the tide was edging out.
Sea pottery and tile.
More filter faffing.
The wreck today.
Just coming ashore.
Beach Buoy and Borrowed Dog were almost at the beach access ramp as the Church Bells rang for 10 a.m.
BEACH BUOY.
