A frosty windscreen day.
Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog parked up in Seaton Park.
It was around 8-20 a.m.
They walked the short walk to The Esplanade.
Rita the meter maid was in hot pursuit.
Beach Buoy waited at the top of the access ramp.
The barrier was down and locked to stop vehicles going onto the beach.
There was a gap at the side for those on foot and paw.
Beach Buoy had paused because a Labrador was heading up to The Esplanade with the most important piece of driftwood clenched between it's teeth.
It was just narrow enough to go through the gap.
Beach Buoy chatted briefly to the dog's owner.
She followed her dog onto The Esplanade.
Beach Buoy and the dogs headed south.
The Sun was up.
They walked.
Beach Buoy wore sunglasses.
It was the Optician's idea not Beach Buoy's P.R. Team.
Beach Buoy was pleased to see two early morning push chairs down by the sea.
They were later spotted being pulled from the beach.
The beach Huts and the Moon on a sunny morning.
Beach Buoy stopped to chat to Team one black ear.
They went their separate ways.
They headed to the wreck.
They crossed water-filled rippled sand.
The wreck today.
X marks the spot.
They continued south.
It was the best of mornings.
So bright.
Beach Buoy found a pottery base in the shingle.
They set off for Stubborn Dog Stack.
Beach Buoy had collected five suitable stones.
"Morning Mate."
It was 9-11.
Beach Buoy added the stones
He patted
THE
stone.
He sat a while on the driftwood wedge with plenty of rust.
"See you mate."
They returned to the beach below via the low level route.
They walked along the grey rocks into the bright sunlight.
He searched the shingle.
A bottle top.
The rubber seal seemed to be in good condition too.
They headed back to the north.
The wreck was further ashore now.
Beach Buoy and the dogs made their way to The Esplanade.
Mr.Gunn/Lunn was just starting his walk.." "l'm late."
They chatted.
Mr.Gunn /Lunn had his Thursday Borrowed Dog Basil as well as excellent dog Alfie.
Beach Buoy gifted the bottle top.
"Oh wow, l haven't seen one of them for years ."
They went their separate ways.
BEACH BUOY.
