SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 11, JANUARY 2025.

Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog had parked up in Seaton Park Car Park.
The footpaths were still like a skating rink.
It was around 2 p.m.
They slipped and slid their way to the beach.
It was sunny but cold.

A man marched northwards, along the water's edge.
The beach was busy.
Beach Buoy and the dogs headed south.
He glanced back.
Hugo?
Team one black ear Hugo?
It was.
He, his owner and Milo the borrowed Black Labrador had come out for their second beach walk of the day.
They all walked together to the grey rocks close to Stubborn Dog Stack.

The Moon and the sea, Beach Buoy paused to take a photograph.

There was an elderly lady with a walking stick. She had a Stubborn type dog on a lead and a Border Collie carrying a small driftwood branch.
They all greeted one another.
Humans and Dogs.
They went their separate ways.

The low level route, looking north.
The others headed back.

A family walked the easy route on the dunes above.

"Afternoon Mate."
It was 2-57 p.m.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He stood nearby, watching the sea.
A dogless family came along the dune edge.
"Hiya."
"Alright."
"Hiya."
The family dropped down on yo the beach below.

Beach Buoy waited a while.
"See you mate."
Beach Buoy and the dogs returned to the beach.

They just ambled back to the north.

The Moon and The Gull.
An empty sky was suddenly full.

Four horse riders went south.
Then north.
Then south.

Heading back.
The littler pick lady with a Scottie Dog was on the beach.
She too was parked in Seaton Park.
They slid and chatted their way back to their vehicles.
