JANUARY 18, 2025. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

It was just Beach Buoy and Another Dog today.

They had parked up in Seaton Park.

They headed to the ramp at HL 23.

It was 8-02 a.m.

There was a fresh breeze from the south, it was overcast too.
Beach Buoy was just glad that it was light enough to be out finally.

A three-quarter moon hung over
THE TALK OF THE TOWN.

Three sea swimmers headed back to their belongings down by The Esplanade Wall.

Not not Beach Buoy headed south as far as the dunes with his wonderful little dog.
Looks like the orange coat says are well and truly over?

Beach Buoy thought that he could see a seal.
It was just the very very wet retriever fetching his ball from the sea.
The dripping and friendly dog ran over to a couple walking their Spaniel.
It shook itself from nose to tail.
It's done to Beach Buoy more than once.
😂
It's owner headed north.
"Morning "
"Morning."

The pair worked their way today the Village Green.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south.

A sandbank made a temporary Island.

The young lady with a Yorkshire Terrier was also heading south.
The little dog came over for a neck scratch.
They chatted for a short while as they walked.

Beach Buoy headed for the low level route to Stubborn Dog Stack.
He and the Crows searched the shingle.
Five suitable stack stones were collected.

There was still frost at the dune base.

"Morning Mate."
It was 8-39.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
Beach Buoy sat on the driftwood plank with plenty of rust.
A seal popped up twice then gone

Beach Buoy posted some photographs on social media.
He made old fashioned notes in his beach book.
He stood to go.
They would head south once more.

He checked to the north.
The tide was going out.

A few steps to the south and the Seal popped up again.
Closer to shore.
Heading north not south as before.
They walked along the base of the the dunes.

The Sea Serpent Marker and a Crow.

Up ahead, the bottom of the Sun appeared through a break in the clouds.
Mooned by the Sun.

Then...
Caution.
Dune Trolls sometimes block the route with driftwood.
Sea glass is the payment to pass
If you do get stopped, just explain that you hadn't found any recently.
Whatever you do, do not say you have left some for the mermaids down on the beach below.

More caution.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog carefully crossed grey rocks to reach the shingle scatter.

Do you see it?

White Sea Alley with hint of blue.

They could return to the north via the beach, now that the tide was going out.

A jogger led the way.

Others claimed the freshly exposed beach down near the river.

The tide had gone out so...
The wreck today.

Two Border Collies took their owners for a walk.

Back to the Village.
Back to the van.

BEACH BUOY.
