25, JANUARY 2025.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog drove to the beach.

To be more factual, Beach Buoy drove and Another Dog just changed the gears.

They arrived at 8-12 a.m.

They had passed Rita the Meter Maid as she headed to The Front.

They headed to The Esplanade.

A man walked ahead of them.

He had his trousers tucked into his socks.

For some reason it filled Beach Buoy with a sense of distrust.

As they headed down Station Road access ramp, they could see a Metal Detectorist looking for gold.

"LOOK LEFT!"
shouted Beach Buoy's imagination

They began to head south.

There was a chilly breeze blowing from the west.

Some lovely post-storm clouds.

The view north gave Beach Buoy and idea for a book.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed southwards, alongside the calmest of seas.
The Seaton Carew Wreck was still at sea.

A couple beachcombed along the strand-line.

Four men crossed the dunes to reach the car park.

Seaton Snooks Tea Room cloud of the week winner.

Once more Beach Buoy gave up the water's edge for another to enjoy it in peace.

He began to wander towards the low level route to Stubborn Dog Stack.

"Morning Mate "
It was 8-54.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He sat on the driftwood plank with plenty of rust, with plenty of thoughts.

" See you mate."

They returned to the low level route.
Back to the beach.
The lady and her dog were still enjoying the water's edge, together alone, but to the north now.

Beach Buoy spotted a bonnie stone.

He turned it over.
It was a stone that had been thrown from Stubborn Dog Stack by some clown.
Beach Buoy placed into his beach bag.
It would be returned next visit.

A ship on the horizon looked like a block of flats.
It was heading to the River Tees.

A lady in red was Beachcombing.
Her plastic bag seemed to be well loaded with finds?

Four Fishermen.
The same four men who had walked by the sea before crossing the dunes to the car park

They headed to North Gare.
The logistics of the whole operation seemed to be wrong?

A Labrador ran from Car Park to and in the Sea.
Then back to the owner.
Then back to the sea.
Repeat
Repeat
Repeat
Until the owner too was by the sea.
They rushed southwards along the water's edge.

A family of three paused to take a selfie.
Their dog ran around  in circles but not in photographs.

Ever closer.
A Tees Tug came out between The Gares.

Feeding time.
Beach Buoy fed four Crows, leaving each a small pile food from his container.

Up ahead, The Metal Detectorist had discovered more Detectorists.

Beep.
"Coin!"
One of the Detectorists shouted to another.
"Just a penny, l think?"

A Brown Spaniel in a bright red coat , ran to one of the other detectorists.
It seemed to be asking if he had found a lost ball.
It wagged it's tail as it waited for a response.

Beep beep.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog stopped to talk to Mr.Gunn/ Lunn up on The Esplanade.
He and Excellent Dog Alfie were late arriving today.
