SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 29, SEPT. 2024

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach.
It was just after 7 a.m.
Sunrise was taking place.

Sea swimmers entered the water.
Others stood chatting and watching.

This time of year the sunrise still takes place over the sea.
As winter approaches and arcs become smaller, it will rise above land from Seaton Sands at least.
Beach Buoy has it as a tick box, when as spring approaches the sun begins to rise out at sea once more
Quite literally, light at the end of the tunnel.
The winter tunnel.

They headed down the access ramp.
The Sunlight was dazzling.
As so often happens, no sooner had the Sun cleared the horizon then it began to be claimed by the clouds

Team Muzzled Dog caught up.
Their paths hadn't crossed for a while.
They chatted.
They had been on Safari, only getting their two dogs back the night before .

Team Muzzled Dog headed off south at a quicker pace.

The Sun going, had changed the morning's pallette.

The tide was as far out as the Seaton Carew Wreck .

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked the "easy" route.
The lady who walks the length of the beach below, turned to head back northwards.

"Morning Mate."
Billy Buoy was still in place.
On lookout duty.
It was 7-35.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He sat on the well-worn plank with plenty of rust.
He just sat ...

On the beach below, two men headed north with their two dogs.

Beach Buoy stood.
"See you mate."

Beach Buoy and Another Dog continued southwards along the dune edge.

In time they dropped down on the beach, crossing grey rocks to do so.

Different shades of sand look like flames of a beach bonfire.

A hat.
Possibly blown off a customer at the nearby Seaton Snooks Tea Room in the recent blowy wether?

Time to head back.
The man who used to have a Beagle but who now has a Spaniel, joined them for the journey back to the car park .
