Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach access ramp at 6-50 a.m.
They headed to the beach.
It was mild, grey and ever so slightly misty.
Hartlepool Headland was visible.
South Gare, Saltburn and some of the wind turbines were not.
They headed south with a slight breeze on their back.
Team One Black Ear were heading back northwards.
They stopped and chatted as Beach Buoy made a fuss of Hugo.

They went their separate ways
The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple were up ahead, walking as they do at a quicker pace.
The tide was a fair way in.
The lady who walks the full length of the beach did so.
Another choose to walk barefoot foot, shoes in one hand, phone in the other.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog climbed the slope slope.
They walked the "easy" route.

Beach Buoy added some stones.

He sat on the driftwood wedge about a metre long.
The man who had three dogs who now had four passed by the stack.
They chatted briefly as his three dogs came by, one by one.
The tide was too high for them to have beach access to North Gare Pier.
