SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. HARVEST MOON & ISS.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 6-20 p.m.
It was as bright as Noon.

The car park was very busy.
The tide was way out.
It was warm with a pleasant breeze off the sea.

They headed south.

A man stood to the north.
He looked at his phone.
He stood.
He looked like someone who was waiting for someone?

Two swimmers headed to the dune edge to dry.

There was hardly a cloud in the sky.
It seemed odd being so bright but then dark so soon.

A family of three sat on the dune edge with their six pug dogs.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed up the big slope.
They set off along the "easy" route.
It soon became clear that a family were walking the route too, back to the north.

Beach Buoy stepped aside at a suitable passing point and waited.
" After you."
A conveyor belt of "Thank you."
came as the very polite family of all ages passed by.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog continued southwards.

"Evening Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
The Sun was still bright but long sunshine shadows gave the game away.
He sat on the driftwood wedge about a metre long.
He drank fizzy water.
He reached for his binoculars.

He wondered just were the Moon would rise this evening.
It came up just north of yesterday's position.

Beach Buoy stood and stretched.
The last of a full circle sun sat to the west.

"See you mate."

They returned to the beach.
A dune dweller watched the Sunset and Moonrise from one vantage point.

Gulls headed out to sea.

The colours in the bay made it look like a calm winter morning.
It was a late summer's evening.

The Gull on the Moon.

Light fading.
So is time.
Time to head back.

The International Space Station heads for Stubborn Dog Stack.
Beach Buoy was surprised to learn that the station is as big as Buckingham Palace.

Beach Buoy was too busy telling him where to look via Watts app to take his own photograph.
