NORTH GARE PIER TO THE STACK AND BACK. 25, SEPT. 2024.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached North Gare Car Park at 4-32 p.m.

Rain was forecast for later on.

An area was fenced off next to the car park.

Tees Archeology were investigating a Medieval Mound.

Beach Buoy set off for Stubborn Dog Stack.

They headed down the track that leads to and from North Gare Pier.

They cut through the dunes just before the Pier.
For some unknown reason he was running up the dunes.
Very UnBeach Buoy-like.
At the top of one of the dunes stood a lady.
She was looking for a route back to the car park.
The lady had been on the dig at the Mound.
She had later headed for the beach with her metal detector.
They chatted as Beach Buoy guided her back to the Pier track.

Beach Buoy told a few local stories.
They went their separate ways.

Beach Buoy returned to dune heights.
He walked this time.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog  dropped down onto the dune edge.

Sea Fret.

5-44.
"Afternoon Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He took a seat on the well-worn plank with plenty of rust.

They sat a while.

"See you mate."

They headed back through the dunes.

Back to the van.
 Pier fishermen led the way.

BEACH BUOY.
