SEATON SANDS 17 JULY 2019.

7-24 pm
Beach Buoy reached the beach car park as the rain began to fall lightly on the van roof.
They (Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog) sat in the van a while as Beach Buoy unwound to the sound of the rainfall hitting the metal roof of the vehicle.
The last few days had been so warm that the moisture was almost going unnoticed  in the outside world.

They ventured out .
No twitchers tonight to watch over the Little Terns.
Despite the light precipitation  a family sat by the dune edge. They seemed to be in picnic mode and it was happening come rain or shine.
Beach Buoy wandered down towards the water's edge.
Sammy Seal said hello.
A dad and lad were there too.
The dad had his hood up, hands deep in pockets and clicked his heels as the young boy made sand castles from the wet sand beyond the strand line.
Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog headed South with some of the more adventurous Little Terns for company.
Maybe they were dad and lad too?
Flying Lessons for beginners?
Beach Buoy went for a sit and think down on the dune edge, just opposite the twisting Sea Serpent.
It was still raining a little, but Beach Buoy's fancy new coat seemed to be dry as the air was so warm.
The dog fell asleep.
Beach Buoy could easily have followed suit; he was so weary.
In fact if some one had popped up
with a pop up tent
Beach Buoy would have popped in and popped off to sleep .
He may still have been there still?
In reality it was slow walk back to the van and another sit and listen to the rain.
