| 1-30pm. It was a changeable afternoon. Cloud. Sun. Rain. Downpour. Sun. The tide was well out. In the harbour a selection of water activities were taking place. |

| A walk along the Beautiful Pier. Here is their website. You can book tours on-line to see the tunnel that runs inside the Pier, but read the details about footwear etc. before booking, which you can do on-line. There is a link on the site below. ROKER PIER. |

| From the Pier end the Harbour Beach shone in the intermittent sunshine as the the sea and sky made it a sandwich filling. |

| Just as the Pier walk ended the sky opened and ball bearing rain shot down from the sky. Cake was bought as was very late breakfast buns. They sat in the van; damp and tired. The kettle whistled; the fanfare of the arrival of water for hot drinks. Roker is nice. Cafes and fish and chip shop with colourful huts to sit in and eat , should the weather become an issue. Check the tides as a lot of the beach seems tidal? Have a look for yourself sometime.... BEACH BUOY. |
