SEATON SANDS 12 JULY 2019

6-05 pm
It was a warm night.
The regular twitchers had company as they continued their excellent work of watching over the vulnerable Little Terns. The Little Terns seemed to be chattering their thanks.
The Car Park was a busy one tonight.
Beach Buoy sat with the van side door open as he changed into his beach boots. He took time to admire the wide selection of clouds.
Two Sports teams were making use of the beach; one on the wet, flat sand whilst the other went into the energy draining soft sand of the dunes.
A mother sat on dune edge on shoe watch for vanished children, running barefoot somewhere, scrolling through her mobile phone as she did so.

They headed South.
A three- legged dog came to say hello.
It was a friendly dog, nice owners too.
If  Beach Buoy had a three-legged dog, it would have to be called Douglas.
A ship readied itself to enter the River Tees.
It was a container ship.
The containers varied in colours.
Their large block like collection of colours made the ship look like a giant lego model ship.

Beach Buoy was tired.
He headed back to the van.
Went for food and returned to the beach to eat and make coffee.

BEACH BUOY.
