SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 02 JULY 2019.

Beach Buoy and his mate Stubborn Dog arrived in the Car Park at 7-38 pm.
There were still plenty of cars in Car Park and people on the beach.
On the promenade two twitcher types from last nights group, stood with tripod and zoom lenses.
They were watching the Little Tern nest site.
It was a warm night with a refreshing breeze from the south.
The tide was out and going out even more.
As they headed for the water's edge, Beach Buoy noticed about  30 or 40 keep fit types heading from the dune edge, back to the Car Park.

The evening was calm but the sea did have a bit of a roll about it.
The Sun had been out but then hid behind a cloud the shape of a baby elephant.
In contrast to last night, the horizon was a sunlit corridor.
Any white paint on ships out at sea glowed like a beacon.

It was a peaceful and relaxing walk.
The southern end of the beach was pretty much deserted as they had a slow walk back.

They did pass a group of four Magpies that were
 beach- combing.
Beach Buoy sang the rhyme in his head
