SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 11, AUG. 2024. AN EVENING VISIT.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 7-30 p.m.

It was very bright.
There was a strong but warm breeze from the south.
They headed into it.

The beach was fairly busy to the north.

Done tents wobbled like jellies.
Sand was being shaken from towels.
Each towel a colourful flag.
Each staking a claim.

The tide was more in than it was out.

A Bonnie Blue Ship left the rivermouth, sounding it's horn as it did so.

"Evening Mate."
It was 8 p.m.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He sat on the driftwood wedge about a metre long.

Ruby.
aka Another Dog.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog sat in the evening sun.
It still had heat.

"See you mate."
They returned along the "easy" route.

Back to the beach below.
Back to the north.

A slow walk back.

A jogger passed at a quicker pace.

A lady stood in the sea taking photographs of her dogs stood on the beach.
The dogs looked at one another as if to say.
"I don't think she has read the owners manual."
