Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 7-11 p.m.
There was a breeze from the west.
The tide was well in.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south.
Faint sunshine shadows led the way.
Beach Buoy continued south.
Out in the Bay, a Yacht lent this way then that.
To the north, people and dogs seemed drawn to the water's edge.
The south was quieter.
The elderly man with an elderly greyhound were to the north, down by the sea.
Ruby.
Another Dog.
Beach Buoy went over to Stubborn Dog Stack.
He added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
It was 7-40.
He sat on the driftwood wedge about a metre long.
Sand Martin.
Beach Buoy just sat watching this and more.
Sand Martin.
Another...
And again.
"See you mate."
They headed back along the "easy" route.
A Sand Martin joined them.
The usually silent birds seemed to be full of song this evening.
"Not another photograph!"
Sea Pottery.
Slow walk back.
Long shadows.
The sun was beginning to set.
They headed back.
Drawing discussion, later that evening.
BEACH BUOY.
