22, AUG. 2024. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog reached the beach at 7-08 a.m.
It was windy and overcast.
Gulls were parked up in the car park, sheltering from the wind.

The lady who walks the length of the beach was already returning northwards.
The man with three dogs who used to have four, headed south.

Team Muzzled Dog passed by.
"Morning."
"Morning."

They also headed south.

It was quiet to the north.

Beach Buoy and dogs dawdled along.
No rush.

They headed to The Big Slope.

"Morning Mate."
It was 7-45.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He sat on the driftwood wedge about a metre long.
He pulled a hood up.
The wind was on his back.
He watched the seabirds dive into the sea.

Borrowed Dog.

No drink today.
Just soaking up the sea and scenery.
Then it was time to go.
"See you mate."
They returned along the "easy" route.

Borrowed Dog is always so grateful for being taken on a beach walk.

It was a grand morning for a slow walk back.

Sea swimmers placed folded clothes on their folding chairs.
