WED.17 AUG 2022. SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL.

Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog reached the beach at 6-50 p.m.

The tide was well out but coming in.
The slight breeze that was blowing from the north was most welcome on a warm evening
There wasn't a lot of cloud around.
It was pleasant.

They headed south.
Although the bay was calm, waves were breaking six or seven steps out.
It seemed to be residual anger from a rougher sea just coming to shore.

A few people walked the beach.

Groups were dotted here and there.

The others all seemed to drift north.
It often happens, the beach to the south was now theirs.

They headed up to the Stubborn Dog Stack.

Some of the painted stones that had been left after some idiots have removed, were scattered in the dune grass.
Beach Buoy replaced those that he could find.

He patted
THE
stone.
"Evening Mate."

He sat and watched the residual waves break into the beach below.
Then it was
"See you mate."
They all headed back to the beach.

Another slow walk back as the tide came in.

A milky sky beyond the dunes to the west.

A Yacht.

Others had appeared by now.

A well earned coffee back in the van.
He had picked up from the garage after work.
It had been a dear do.

 But it's worth it.
For times like these.

BEACH BUOY.
