SUNDAY,18 APRIL 2021. SEATON SANDS.HARTLEPOOL.

It was Sunday!
Beach Buoy was awake at 5-14am.
They parked in an empty car park at 5-42am.
A man with swinging arms quickly walked the promenade, from south to north.
The air was still on the beach and in the bay too.
The wind turbines stood idle like a photograph.
They headed to the water's edge.
The beach was as deserted as the car park was.
The horizon glowed slightly as though it was the tip of a giant sun with just the top of the orb showing.

"Don't worry, about a thing."
Three Little Birds.
Bob Marley.

Two sunrise seekers stood down by the village.
The distant wave lady, her mother and dog came onto the beach as the sun rose above a slight amount of low cloud.

The sea turned to liquid gold for a while.
Some late arrivals turned up, a little late for the actual sunrise.

A lady walked along the water's edge, as she passed them she disturbed
ten Oyster Catchers .

The sun slipped behind some cloud as the beach wave lady waved.

The Sea Serpent.

They stacked the stack at 6-37 am. before heading back down to the beach.
Beach Buoy saw Michele the Mermaid down where the grey rocks began.
She was sat  on some of the grey rocks splashing her tail in the sea.
He headed towards her saying...
"Found your wedding ring!"
"Thanks, I lost to last week in that storm."
She is a bonnie lass, her husband is a lucky merman.
She's quite a catch.
On a scale of one to ten ; a ten!
She said a thank you and a farewell for now before swimming off like  a seal; it throws people off the scent.

They began a slow walk back.
Michele surfaced to wave, Beach Buoy waved back at the "Seal."
The 7 am club were on their way.
A large Black Labrador broke ranks and ran towards Beach Buoy as if they were best of friends.
It thudded across the beach like a Grizzly Bear.
The two had had no previous contact.
The dog was soaking, after being in the sea, but was given a stroke and a hello.
Mari the large poodle was next-in-line.
One neck scratch coming up.
Mornings and Goodbyes were said.
Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog dawdled along.

It wasn't long before the 7 am club had almost caught Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog up.

Beach drifter and driftwood.

The kettle boiled as the finds were sorted.

Some nice sea pottery and a golf ball.
Beach Buoy had put the sea glass and sea pottery in separate pockets but must have had a hole in one?

 Bye for now...
BEACH BUOY.
