STAITHES, 12 APRIL 2021 A DAY OFF

They reached Staithes at 10-30 am.

It was sunny but fresh.

The tide was well out.

Every fishing pot stack, a work of art.

More artwork on the gable end of this house on the north side of the village.

It rained for a few minutes.

The Cod and Lobster were open for business.

Fishing gear takes a seat.

The cottage is called first and last.
It is at the top of the bank that leads down to the harbour.
It is either the first or last you will pass depending wether you are going up or coming up.

They hadn't stayed long
It was odd being out of town after some many restricted weeks.

A quick look at Port Mulgrave then it was time to head  back.
They had spent more time travelling to and from than at.

It may take some getting used to this being able to leave town?

BEACH BUOY.
