SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL, 09 APRIL 2021.

It was Friday.

They left the house on foot at 5-12 pm.

It was very bright.

They reached the beach car park at 5-26pm.

The Hungry Seagull had splashed the cash.

A colourful new outlet was parked up on the promenade.

It  looked a little like a small airstream type caravan.

It wasn't silver as you may have pictured, but YELLOW.

So yellow that it made custard look like gravy.

After donning sunglasses to go past the new but welcome addition to the promenade, they headed for the beach.

A beach regular headed north on the water's edge  with his two Yorkshire Terriers having the rip by the sea.

A timid looking lady with a small timid looking dog stood near to the breaking waves.

Beach Buoy spotted a stone that looked like a face with an alley nose.

They headed south, alternating between the water's edge and shingle.

A left-footed man kicked a tennis ball for his small dog to chase, which it did, eagerly.

The sun was bright, the breeze off the sea was cold.

Beach Buoy and Stubborn Dog wandered around like a couple drunks looking for an off-license.

A dog-less man walked the water's edge.

Up on the dune edge a girl screamed as if he were being murdered.

Her mother had told her that it was time to go.

The mother ended up screaming as if she was about to commit murder; she didn't.

As they headed for the stack they passed a crab / lobster pot.

It was extremely heavy, too heavy to drag, that would be like having to drag double Stubborn Dog.

They stacked the stack,

They headed for Sand Martin Corner via the dunes as the tide was still in too much to allow beach access.

There was of sign of Sand Martins.

Gulls made use of the up-draught caused by the vacant steep dune edge.

They searched the shingle down by the tank traps.

The sea was still angry.

It may have been going out but it still seemed willing to try and catch the beach walkers out, given the chance.

The tide had gone enough to allow a slow walk back via the beach alongside the Grey Rocks.

A Gull.

A slow walk back.

(They always are.)

The Blueness of the Bay was breathtaking.

The free parking had started.

The people came.

Beach folk, doing beach things.

The finds.

SN is the code for a fishing boat from North Shields.

It is a tag that was connected to a bamboo pot marker.

A search on google showed that the Debra Lousie is a small white fishing boat.

They  arrived back at 7-10 pm

Almost two hours walking, the majority of which was by the sea.
