SEATONS SANDS 21 08 19. ( Goodbye little terns.)

5-30 pm
Beach Buoy noticed the Twitchers cars, but they were not stood on the promenade.
A short walk explained all.
They were clearing the Little Tern Nest Site with black bags and litter pickers.
It looked like confirmation that the little birds had finally moved on.
There was a blowy breeze from the West.
The sky was overcast with lumpy clouds in every shade of grey.

Two men stood at the water's edge watching a seal appear and disappear.
Their Little Dog sat patiently waiting to continue their walk,
from the side he looked like the HMV dog.
Two jet skis crossed the bay and were heading right where the seal had been.
The seal disappeared.
The two ***** on their jet skis parked them up on the beach.

There are signs on the promenade stating that they are not allowed.
They didn't look cool just sad.

They were there minutes then back off... to the River mouth and then in the direction of Redcar.

Clouds gathered more closely; strength in depth they say.

Spits of fine rain drifted by from time to time.

It was a quiet beach.

They had a sit and think.
Mainly about how to get up again; Beach Buoy was getting to that age. They headed back to see the Twitchers gathering up the warning cones and flags.
It was over..

BEACH BUOY.
