SEATON SANDS 22 AUG. 2019.

It was 6-10pm.
A lady wearing headphones was heading north on the promenade, she was walking two Greyhounds.
Two lady Cyclists followed behind.
It looked like it might have had disaster written all over it but all was well.
The two Cyclists caught the dog-walker's attention and stopped to pet the dogs next to the access ramp.
Stacks of bright red cones stood nearby, waiting for collection, now that the nest site is no more.
The wind was from the west.
It did a great job of calming the incoming tide but did ripple it's surface in doing so.
Out in the bay, two Tugs left the River Tees and made the short and slow journey into Hartlepool Port.

They walked to the Grey Rocks.
They had a sit and think down on the dune edge.
The beach was almost totally deserted.
They had a quiet, undisturbed walk back to the Van.
The Sun joined them for a short while...
