SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL 25 AUG. 2019.

Beach Buoy and two dogs arrived at an empty Car Park at 5-45 am ; empty that is apart from a United Nations of sea birds picking through fast food litter that was scattered around  from the day before.
As they walked down to the water's edge a noise came from the horizon.
 It was an odd noise.
It wasn't a foghorn.
It sounded like the Sea Serpent had lost one of its young; a low forlorn rumble.
A Lady dog walker was more to the south.
She was stood with phone in hand, waiting to take some photographs of the sunrise.

Beach Buoy did the same.
A duke sun rose at 5-59 am.
This was around fifteen minutes later than it was a week ago.
We are losing about two minutes day and night as Autumn approaches.

It rose above the mist on the horizon and lit the clouds above it a glowing orange.
Back over to the village, the clouds blushed pink as a naked sun rose.

A beam of light from the sun followed Beach Buoy and the dogs south as the lady dawn photographer headed north back towards the village.
