Beach Buoy and two dogs arrived at an empty Car Park at 5-45 am ; empty that is apart from a United Nations of sea birds picking through fast food litter that was scattered around from the day before. As they walked down to the water's edge a noise came from the horizon. It was an odd noise. It wasn't a foghorn. It sounded like the Sea Serpent had lost one of its young; a low forlorn rumble. A Lady dog walker was more to the south. She was stood with phone in hand, waiting to take some photographs of the sunrise. |
