SEATON SANDS 21 JUNE 2018 .. THE LONGEST DAY.

BEACH BUOY AND TWO DOGS ARRIVED 20-26.
THE SUN HAD GONE TO SALTBURN, AS IT OFTEN DOES ON AN EVENING.
LONG CLOUDS STRETCHED ACROSS THE BAY AS IF IN CELEBRATION OF THE LONGEST DAY.

A SMALL DARK BOAT CROSSED THE BAY FROM RIGHT TO LEFT... SOUTH TO NORTH.
SPILLS OF SEA SPREAD IN FILLING UP THE LOW LYING AREAS OF THE CONSTANTLY CONTOURED BEACH.

DOG  TWO LOOKED UP TO THE DUNES, WHERE AROUND TWENTY TEENAGERS STOOD; TALKING.
THE SUN HAD RETURNED FROM SALTBURN AND  GILDED THE BEACH AT SEATON CAREW.

BEACH BUOY STOPPED AND  STOOD. FACING THE SUN.

IN HEAVEN,
IT WOULD  ALWAYS BE THE LONGEST DAY.
THERE WOULD BE SEA,
SAND,
SUN
AND A DOG.

BEACH BUOY.
