BEACH BUOY AND TWO DOGS ARRIVED AT 19-09. TWO SMALL BLACK DOGS HAD BEEN EXCITEDLY RUNNING AROUND THE CAR PARK IN THE BRIGHT SUN; THEY LOOKED LIKE DOUBLE SHADOWS. THREE CHILDREN AGED ABOUT 8,7 and 2 PLAYED ALONE ON THE BEACH. WHILST THEIR GROWN UPS SAT IN THE CAR, OUT OF SIGHT OF THEM! THE SUN WAS FINALLY OUT BUT THE BREEZE WAS STILL VERY FRESH OFF THE SEA; BEACH BUOY WAS GLAD THAT HE HAD WRAPPED UP. THERE WAS HEAT IN THE SUN, SO ONE SIDE OF HIS FACE WAS WARM, THE OTHER CHILLED BY THE BREEZE. |
IT WAS AROUND TWO HOURS TO HIGH TIDE. BEACH BUOY WAS MORE A TIDE GOING OUT PERSON THAN A TIDE COMING IN PERSON. THEY HEADED TO THE GARE, HE NOTICED THE WHITE OF THE SEAGULLS STANDING IN THE SAND IN THE FAR DISTANCE. THEY GLOWED IN THE BRIGHT SUNLIGHT. THEY TOOK FLIGHT LONG BEFORE BEACH BUOY ARRIVED. A PLANE LEFT A STRAIGHT, BRIGHT, WHITE VAPOUR TRAIL ACROSS THE LIGHT BLUE SKY LIKE A ZIP ON A PAIR OF FAVOURITE DENIM JEANS. |
THE CHOPPY SEA HAD WASHED UP MORE DRIFTWOOD. |
PEOPLE WERE COMING AND PEOPLE WERE GOING. IT WAS HARD TO GIVE ANYONE A WIDE BERTH AS THE TIDE WAS ALMOST HIGH; MAKING THE BEACH QUITE NARROW FOR THOSE WANTING SPACE. |
THE WAVES ROLLED IN. |
SO DID THE BALLOONS. |
... AND PLASTIC! |
A DEAD BIRD HAD A RING MARKER! Addition...Thanks to @ArthurFitzsimm9 and shag@ceh.ac.uk The Bird is a Shag it was ringed as a chick 23 06 17 on Inchkeith, Firth of Forth. |
BEACH BUOY ADMIRED THE CLOUD FORMATION AS HE HEADED BACK |
