Beach Buoy arrived at the water's edge 6-02am. High tide had been at 5-50am. Beach Buoy headed South as a lone Seabird skimmed across the Bay from South to North, just inches from the Sea. Beach Buoy had already collected some bottles and cans as part of his Beach clean. Every second step the cans clicked, it sounded like raindrops falling into a Galvanised Bucket. It had been a hard week. Beach Buoy stood facing the Sea and rubbed his face with both hands as if washing. The Sea was the Bathroom Mirror today. Two hoods went up as he carried on the walk. " The World can do one for a while." he thought to himself, the weight of the world slowing his pace a little. |
