SEATON SANDS 16 JUNE 2018.

Beach Buoy and the one Dog arrived at the Beach at 5-55am.
When he left the House he had noticed how calm the day was as the trees were completely still in the garden; not a leaf moving. His neighbour had moved their large Caravan and now whilst standing on his drive Beach Buoy could see the Tees Bay Wind Turbines; Motionless.
There were two cars in the Car Park when he had arrived. A Promenade walker joined the prom and a man pulled up on a feet first motorcycle; he went to rest on the promenade wall and looked out to Sea.

Beach Buoy arrived at the water's edge 6-02am.
High tide had been at 5-50am.
Beach Buoy headed South as a lone Seabird skimmed across the Bay from South to North, just inches from the Sea.
Beach Buoy had already collected some bottles and cans as part of his Beach clean. Every second step the cans clicked, it sounded like raindrops falling into a Galvanised Bucket.
It had been a hard week.
Beach Buoy stood facing the Sea and rubbed his face with both hands as if washing.
The Sea was the Bathroom Mirror today.
Two hoods went up as he carried on the walk.
" The World can do one for a while." he thought to himself, the weight of the world slowing his pace a little.

Beach Buoy stopped at the rocks at the South End of the Beach.
He stood and looked at the view.
Two silhouettes  left the North Gare Pier and shortly afterwards seemed to be the two that appeared on the Beach from the Dunes. A Man, a woman and brown happy Dog.
The lady seemed to take photographs out to Sea on her phone.
They went ahead of Beach Buoy; he was in no rush.

The Fish shape of this caught Beach Buoy's eye as he walked along the Beach; a Soy Sauce serving!

Beach Buoy headed back North.
Two dog walkers  headed South. Beach Buoy was glad to spot a little three legged terrier Dog scamper by. He had first seen this little Dog around 8 or 9 years ago. Beach Buoy turned to watch it walk into the distance as it's owner did the same as if recognising Beach Buoy?

Beach Buoy noticed a large amount of rubbish up in the Dunes; an aftermath of last night's teen beach party.
Bottles, cups and bags everywhere!

Whilst carrying the bags to the promenade Beach Buoy was stopped by a lady member of the 7 o'clock dog walking club. She shouted from a distance "Excuse me!" that looks like my daughter's bag. The lady approached and checked.
It was clear she knew Beach Buoy was doing a Beach Clean.
"It's not hers." the lady said, sounding relieved.
"She was sleeping at a friends last night." she explained.
Beach Buoy recounted the Story of last night's teenage Beach get together. She went to rejoin her dog walking friends.

Beach Buoy carried what he could to the bin at the end of the Promenade.
He chatted to a man just going onto the Beach and told the tale.
Beach Buoy was pleasantly surprised when the Man said that he had a bag in his pocket  and does a Beach Clean. He said he would go up to dunes to collect some of the trash Beach Buoy could not gather.
Nice one!
