Beach Buoy was up at 4-47am. The Dog would not rise from it's bed. Beach Buoy waited and waited for the Dog. In the end he gave up and went to the Beach alone. Oddly he arrived at 6-47am; two hours after waking. A Metal Detectorist scanned the sand; hoping to benefit from someone else's misery. A family group of Two Adults, two children and three dogs, were leaving the Beach. One of the Dogs was barking at the Metal Detectorist. "GOOD BOY!" A Man in short shorts headed back from the South with his dog, he stood in the Dunes; arms behind back, looking out at Sea. A Lady and Dog joined the man and they headed back South again |
Beach Buoy photographed another Beached Balloon. |
..and Another! |
Curls of Brown Seaweed decorated the Water's edge. A proper old fashioned Fog Horn, bellowed from the North. The nosiest Boat in the world crossed the Bay in the Fog, it chugged around invisibly. |
Halfway along the Beach, Beach Buoy stopped to make a note of the visibility today. He did a mental check list what he could see from the shoreline today. SALTBURN ? ... NO WIND TURBINES ?... NO HARTLEPOOL HEADLAND?... NO. SEA SERPENT ?... YES SEATON CAREW? ... JUST ABOUT. 7 O'CLOCK CLUB ?... YES The club passed Beach Buoy around 10 minutes later. The Big Poodle (Club Member.) tried a number of times to get to Beach Buoy for it's regular neck rub. It was cut off each time by a Border Collie from the Club who may have thought the large Poodle was a Sheep; A Sheep with a Rainbow Tail! Beach Buoy continued South, the annoying high pitched Fog Buzzer came into earshot from the South. A Camera shy Seal surfaced about 10 meters offshore, it glanced at Beach Buoy and disappeared. It happens. BEACH BUOY. |
