SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL. 21, JAN. 2026

Wednesday Morning at 7-05 a.m.

It was still dark.

The tide was a good way in.

They headed south.
Two hoods were down.
With a Dut on his head and with hands deep in pockets, they walked the water's edge.

It wasn't quite half light.

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones with the aid of a torch.

There was a breeze from the south west.

Waves were breaking five or six steps out into the bay.

Silhouettes of Pebbles with Legs did the Hokey Cokey as the sea came and went.

Gulls stood as if waiting for more light?

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked the low level route.

7-36.

"Morning Mate."

Beach Buoy patted

THE

stone.

He added the five suitable stones.

Beach Buoy had a sit and a think on the driftwood seat with an elevated view.

Ruby had a sit and a think too.

No Crows today.
It was still quite dark, dark, darker than the photographs would have one believe.

For a few minutes, the beach was an Island.

He was an Island.

"See you mate."

He left some seed for the Crows should they come to check.

The Lady with a black dog whose white dog was at home, gave a distant wave which was returned.

Up ahead a lady and her dog headed north along the water's edge.
