6, JAN. 2026. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Tuesday morning.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 6-55.
A man dressed as an Eskimo walked the Esplanade.
"Morning."
"Morning."

They made their way down the access ramp.

The south end of the Esplanade.

The strand-line was easy to spot.

They headed south on the sand.
Beach Buoy freed five suitable stones with a kick.
Even on the sand they were frozen into place.

A Ghostly Moon watched them head south.
Gulls cried lust beyond the breaking waves.
A light breeze blew.

They walked the low level route.
Slippy snow white grey stones by torchlight.
Beach Buoy walked secondhand footprints.

7-22
"Morning Mate."
It was too dark for the Crows to be around.
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

After Stubborn Dog died Beach Buoy said he didn't want Another Dog.
Too heartbreaking.
Ruby is Another Dog.
He is glad of her company and loyalty and yes even that in-built stubborn streak.

Sunrise was still a good way off.

Waste gasses burnt from a different type of stack.
The flames fluttered like an orange flag.

Before leaving, Beach Buoy placed some seeds on the Crow's perch.
A handful of seed was placed in the usual spot.

"See you mate."

Back to the beach.

Another Dog led the way.

Beach Buoy kept checking back to the south.

They met up with Team One Black Ear.
They walked and talked.

The man who once had four dogs went by with three and a bright head torch.
"Morning."
"Morning."
His three dogs went either side of their three dogs like interlocking fingers.

Team One Black were going to continue north along the beach.
It was safer to walk the beach than a slippy Esplanade.

As Beach Buoy reached the Esplanade, they had company.
A Crow landed on one of the information boards.

Another landed on the wall as Team One Black Ear headed off on the beach below.

Beach Buoy scattered seed along the wall.

He scattered more on the edge of the Car Park.
They must have had a long cold night?
BEACH BUOY.
