20 JAN 2026. SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Tuesday afternoon.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived in Seaton Park Car Park at 2-15 p.m.

They took the short walk to the beach.

It was bright and breezy.

Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

The tide was well in.
The wreck was safely sunken once more.

The light was very bright.

Too late, Beach Buoy realised that the elderly man with his elderly greyhound had passed by.
He would have gone over for a chat.
It was good to see them.
They are more often seen on late evening walks in the summer months.
They have had some good chats in the past.

A couple were heading north with their two dogs.
One of the dogs ran over to say hello.
Beach Buoy held out a hand,
The friendly dog give the most gentle nose touch before running back to its owners.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed for the low level route.
Up ahead a man in a dark brown coat headed south.
A light brown beach bag was over his shoulder.

3-05.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy patted
THE
stone
He added the five suitable stones.

A couple with a Jack Russell were walking the easy route from the north towards Stubborn Dog Stack.
They stopped and began to turn to head back.
Beach Buoy signalled for them to come through.

They did.
They thanked him.
Their dog was on a lead.
It was barking and not happy with Another Dog.
Possibly that was the reason that they were going to turn back?

Beach Buoy told them the story of the stack as if there were a need to explain the reason that he was standing up in the dunes.
"Oh bless you."
The couple continued southwards.
Blessed, Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed back to the beach.
"See you mate."

They returned to the north.

Simple pleasures...

BEACH BUOY.
