Thursday morning.
Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog had parked in Seaton Park.
It is a two hour disc zone from April to October.
The Village Church Bells rang for 8-45.
They were on the Esplanade in no time.
They accessed the beach via the ramp that is close to the Beach Huts.
There was a strong wind off the sea.
It ran from the sea, across the Esplanade and down Station Lane as if it were late for a train.
To the south, the Beachcombing Border Collie Couple were heading home.
Sea swimmers headed to a stormy sea.
A short time later, they returned to their towels and belongings.
They crossed shingle.
Shingle can sometimes mean finds.
Sometimes sea glass, others Sea Pottery.
It was a grey morning.
Hartlepool Headland was lost to the mist.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.
They reached Stubborn Dog Stack at 8-55.
The Crow arrived about five seconds later.
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones to the stack.
He patted
THE
stone.
Beach Buoy scattered some seed.
"See you mate."
(Stubborn Dog.)
They returned to the low level route.
Gulls hung in the air.
Back to the north.
Sea foam seemed to form a pathway.
Up ahead, Beach Buoy could see that the wreck was coming ashore once more.
More shingle was walked.
More Sea Pottery was found.
The wreck.
Ashore once more.
The Village Church bells rang for 9-30.
Beach Buoy and the Dogs headed back to Seaton Park.
