Thursday morning.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog arrived at the beach car park at 6-54.
The air was still and cold.
The car park and Esplanade were frosty.
It was zero degrees.
Beach Buoy clipped a light to his front.
His green light needed recharging.
He collected five suitable stones.
There didn't seem to be anyone to the north.
They headed south.
Ruby led the way for a while under torch and belly light,
Even when unfiltered, photographs make the scene seem lighter than it was in realaity.
The clip above shows the amount of light as it was.
The tide was well in.
There was a bit of a run on the sea.
In the darkness of reality, they walked the low level route.
Beach Buoy almost went Belly torch over beach book.
A Pirouette in the darkness .
Up to Stubborn Dog Stack.
"Morning Mate."
It was 7-15 and dark,
Beach Buoy added the five suitable stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
It was too dark for the Giant Pencil Crow to appear/
He had a stand and a think.
The driftwood seat with an elevated view was well frosted.
"See you mate."
They traced their slippy steps along the low level route.
The tide was quire high.
Waves ran.
Certain parts of the beach had to be timed as the waves pulled back.
It was becoming lighter by the minute.
It was over half an hour to sunrise.
Two hoods were down.
It was cold but somehow it didn't feel too bad.
The man who once had four dogs passed by with three and a head torch.
"Morning."
"Morning."
"Alright?"
"Yeah. You?"
"Yeah."
Beach Buoy pointed to the light on his belly.
"I've put this on to warn people of a wide load."
"Ha."
They went off in opposite directions.
A Large Labradoodle came running over .
It was friendly.
"Morning."
"Morning."
The man and his Labradoodle headed off into the sunrise.
Beach Buoy made his way to the access ramp at the south end of The Esplanade.
The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple were heading down it quicker than a launched lifeboat.
It looked to be even quicker as the sloping wall hid their legs.
They don't dawdle.
Off to the sea they went.
As soon as Beach Buoy reached the Esplanade .
He could hear Crow Claws gripping the metal of the of one of the information boards..
He had company.
He scattered a line of seed along the Esplanade Wall.
More Crows came.
A follower on Bluesky did point out the unusual outline of the Crow in flight.
It had fallen to minus 2 degrees.
One windscreen to defrost.
BEACH BUOY.
