25 JAN. 2026 SEATON SANDS, HARTLEPOOL.

Sunday morning.
High tide at 7-56 a.m.
Sunrise at 8-05 a.m.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked to the beach.
they set off at 7-30.

Wind-blown sand had gone beyond the car park.

They reached the beach at 7-50 as a Ship headed into the safety of the River Tees.

Beach Buoy carried Another Dog to the water's edge.
No shifting sands by the sea.
To the north a lady carried  her dog to the water's edge too.

A couple were to the south.
Beach Buoy collected five suitable stones.

He exchanged greetings with the couple as they were heading back to the north.

The wind was strong.

Heading south was like walking uphill.

The Buoy was still at the side of the grey rocks.

It seemed to have moved north?

As Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked the low level route two excited looking men came along.

"Don't often get to see them close up."

The men took turns climbing on the Buoy to have a photograph taken.

"Morning Mate."

It was 8-25.

Beach Buoy patted

THE

stone.

He added five more that were suitable.

He sat on the driftwood bench with an elevated view.

The two men were still faffing near the Buoy.

They headed up to the stack.

"Bit risking but were both trained."

They both laughed.

One of the men showed Beach Buoy one of the photographs that had been taken.

The men headed south.

Beach Buoy sat wondering why the Buoy had moved to the north.

He went to investigate.

The rope had become untied.

The Buoy was free to move.

He tried to ring Hartlepool Marina.

He got through but the wind was so strong that they couldn't here one another.

He would try when there was shelter form the wind.

They headed back towards Stubborn Dog Stack.

The Crow had arrived.

Beach Buoy could see it standing on its giant pencil perch.

The Crow seemed to peer at Beach Buoy.

"Oh finally, here he is."

it seemed to say.

Beach Buoy scattered some seed before leaving.

"See you mate."

(Stubborn Dog.)

From Stubborn Dog Stack to the Buoy.

They headed back.

The beach was becoming busy.

Beach Buoy found shelter.
He tried to ring the non-emergency coastguard number for Hartlepool.
No Answer.
He tried to ring PD Ports.
Answer machine.
He rang Hartlepool Marina, they would pass the message on about the Buoy.

BEACH BUOY.
