SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 6, OCT. 2024.

The run to the Sun or  just parked in the car park ?
The first signs of the sun, the first drops of rain and footsteps on sand all happened at around the same time.
7-15 a.m.

Sunrise from the van as they set off.

Sunrise seekers.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed south.

The view back north.

South.
The lady who walks the length of the beach did so.
Team One Black Ear were heading back north.
They paused to chat.
Maybe fittingly with a back (one ear) and white, Hugo's owner is a Newcastle United supporter.
We all know that there is only ONE United
💙🤍

As they chatted Team Muzzled Dog passed by.
"Morning." here, there and everywhere. The dogs all greeted one another.
Waggy tail central.

The Beachcombing Border Collie Couple headed back north.

A man with a small dog went ahead south, walking by the sea.
He went to sit with a coffee on the beach below just below Stubborn Dog Stack.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed for the big slope.
Half way up or half way down, a couple sat drinking coffee
"Morning."
"Morning."
"Morning."

They walked the "easy" route.

"Morning Mate."
7-48 a.m.
Beach Buoy added some stones, including one from North Sands yesterday.
He patted
THE
stone.

Another Dog.
Ruby.

Beach Buoy sat on a well-worn plank with plenty of rust.
He watched the sea.
He wished that he had brought a coffee.

"See you mate."
In the distance, two fishermen try their luck on the grey rocks.

The big slope.
The coffee couple had gone.

Slow walk back.

Gull surfing the wave tops.

Mr Gunn/Lunn and excellent dog Alfie approached from the north.
They chatted.
They went their separate ways.

The Access Ramp.
The sand piled up against The Esplanade Wall acts as a ramp for windblown sand.
The car park is partially beach.

Water's edge.
