Beach Buoy has been a bit under the weather.
Rubbish sleep for a good few nights.
He had woke at 1-55.
He made a coffee.
Then two became one.
The clocks were going back.
His phone went from 2 a.m.
to 1 a.m.
Great!
Beach Buoy sat and sat and sat.
Borrowed Dog was on a sleepover.
Beach Buoy had an extra pair of eyes watching.
Even though in a way it would be lighter earlier, it had been a long long night.
Finally!
Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog headed to the beach.
It was 6-40.
Mr Gunn / Lunn and excellent dog Alfie headed to the beach.
"Morning."
"Morning."
Drive-thru Sunrise Seekers sat in their cars
Other more adventurous ones headed for the beach.
Beach Buoy and the dogs headed south.
The tide was out as far as the Seaton Carew Wreck.
People stood waiting for the Sun to show.
The Sun seemed to peek over South Gare Pier as if checking anyone was watching.
They were.
A Lone Crow flew southwards.
Taking the shortest of flight paths.
That's what Crows do apparently.
A sea swimmer entered the sea.
Red swimming costume, white limbs.
Beach Buoy and the dogs headed up the big slope.
7-05 a.m.
Top of the slope.
"Morning Mate."
7-09.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He didn't stop.
He had sat long enough though the long night.
He was eager to keep moving,
They walked along, beside the dunes.
They searched shingle.
They walked in and out between the Tank Traps.
They headed back... slowly..
BEACH BUOY.
