Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog parked up in Seaton Carew Park Car Park.
It was a glorious sunny day.
A butterfly flew by.
Could this one be the last one of the year?
Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog reached the beach. It was around 2-40 p.m.
The walked towards the sea.
Team One Black Ear were also paying an afternoon visit. They were up near the strand-line so a distant wave would have to do.
People and dogs milled around.
The tide was coming in.
They headed south as a young lady pulled a push-chair to the sea.
A toddler toddled behind.
The litter pick man cleaned the strand-line.
Although it was bright and sunny, some chose to wear woolly hats.
Others sported mops of grey hair that looked like wooly hats from a distance.
The view north from the big slope.
Beach Buoy looked south.
Billy Buoy could not be seen!
"Afternoon Mate."
It was 3-24.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
Billy Buoy had indeed gone.
Beach Buoy checked the beach below.
He climbed a slight vantage point in the dunes just incase he had been thrown into the Marram Grass by a throw that was as lazy as it was malicious.
Disappointed, he sat on the well-worn plank with plenty of rust.
At least that hadn't gone the journey.
The sun seemed to shine more brightly, as though trying to make up for the disappearance Of Billy Buoy.
Beach Buoy sat in the sun.
The dogs sat in the sand.
"See you mate."
They all headed back.
A man and woman walked to the sea in pointy wooden hats and wellington boots.
They walked in the sea
Beach Buoy chose to walk in the Sun.
Back up on The Esplanade, a man sat in a "Happy to Chat" bench
He sat alone and silent, eating fish and chips.
Around Forty Starlings sat at his feet.
BEACH BUOY.
