SEATON SANDS HARTLEPOOL. 24, MAY 2024.

Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 6-14 a.m.

A man passed by with a big stick and a bigger dog

"Morning Mate."

"Morning."

Beach Buoy headed to the sea.

The air was full of invisible Little Terns.
Invisible but not silent.

It was mild, a bit cloudy but dry.
A crow made enough  noise for ten.

Up ahead the 7a.m.
Club chatted to others.
103 Lazy Gulls stood by the water's edge.
The tide was in no man's land.

Beach Buoy chatted to a returning 7 a.m. club.

6-44.
"Morning Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

Beach Buoy sat on a driftwood wedge about a metre long.
He drank coffee.
He watched the breeze-rippled sea below.
Skylarks sang.
Sand Martins swopped.
All was good.

The lady who walks the beach did so.
Beach Buoy stood to go.
"See you mate."

A slow walk back.

And now the evening visit.

It was 6-20
Overcast.
Breeze from the West.

Beach Buoy, Borrowed Dog and Another Dog headed south.

The tide was going out.

Beach folk were heading back to the north.

Beach Buoy and the Dogs headed to Stubborn Dog Stack.
It was 6-51.
"Evening Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.

They all sat.
Dogs on dune sand.
Beach Buoy on a driftwood wedge about a metre long.

The dogs kept lookout as Beach Buoy sipped hot coffee.

"See you mate."
They headed back.

Five Pebbles with legs flew north before landing at the water's edge as one.

Back in the car park a collection of minis were parked up.

BEACH BUOY.
