The Little Terns were all members of the wide awake club.
The Sun began to show.
Beach Buoy beachcleaned golf balls that were dotted along the water's edge.
The Sun rose.

A sit on a driftwood wedge about a metre long.
Beach Buoy thought thoughts.
"See you mate."
They headed back by the "easy" route.
They passed a golf ball plant.
On the beach below, someone headed south, shoes in hand, feet in sea.
A pair of Geese went from sea to dune.
A man and his mobile headed southwards.
Beach Buoy paused to watch the sea.
He and Another Dog continued north
The 7 a.m. club approached.
"Morning."
"Morning."
Beach Buoy reached into his beach bag.
He pulled out a framed drawing of a beach scene of them and Mari too.
"You know how some people can't sing but do?
Well l can't draw but do.
This is for you."
He was very touched.
The two men hugged.
They went their separate ways.
Beach Buoy chatted briefly to Scruffy's mam as she headed south to catch up to the
7 a.m. club.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog continued to the van, passing the Little Tern nest site as they did so.
The van.
He made a coffee.
Scruffy's mam came to the van to say how much she like the Mari drawing.
" I love stuff like that."
Team one black ear chatted on the Esplanade.
