Beach Buoy and Another Dog had parked in Seaton Park Car Park at 4-43 p.m.
Beach Buoy set the two hour parking disc, placing it on view, on the dashboard.
The fencing had been put up today, to protect the Little Tern nest site.
Word was that they were on their way.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog walked The Esplanade as far as their usual beach access ramp.
They would have walked the beach but the sea was up to the newly installed fencing.
They headed down onto the beach.
It looked as empty as a winter morning beach.
They turned to head south.
They walked the water's edge.
A crow picked at a dead lobster.
The high tide blocked direct access to the big slope.
They had to walk a not so easy route up in the dunes.
"Afternoon Mate."
It was 5-30.
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
A stone had been added for Hugo.
Beach Buoy sat on the driftwood wedge about a metre long.
He sipped coffee.
It looked like the tide was pulling out?
They could return back north via the beach.
"See you mate."
They walked the "easy" route.
Sea foam shivered on the sand.
The narrow beach was busier now.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog made it back to the van via the beach.
They headed back to the van.
Back at base camp, Another Dog made herself comfortable.
BEACH BUOY.
