Tuesday.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog reached the beach at 4-45 p.m.
It was misty but mild.
The tide was well out, the beach seemed vast.
A light and pleasant breeze blew from the south east.
The Beach Huts in front of The Marine Hotel Horse.
Between them is Seaton Splash Pad and a playground.
New items were being added to the playground today.
Red and White bunting surrounded the play area.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed South.
Three ladies with three dogs all on leads walked the water's edge.
The Seaton Carew Wreck today.
Beach Buoy and Another continued south.
A man with a Corgi headed north.
Beach Buoy and Another Dog headed towards the big slope.
He could hear a tap tap sound from the dunes.
Around a corner sat three people around a small, safe beach bonfire
The tap tap was just the crackling of burning driftwood.
Sea pottery.
They reached Stubborn Dog at at 5-24.
"Afternoon Mate."
Beach Buoy added some stones.
He patted
THE
stone.
He sat on the driftwood wedge about a metre long.
It restored his faith in human nature, the times a seat is left undisturbed.
Down on the Grey Rocks, below the dune edge, he could see the driftwood log.
Someone had actually bothered themselves to take it from the stack and roll it off the dune edge.
Beach Buoy sipped coffee as he watched the incoming tide claim the lower parts of the beach.
Waffle.
"See you mate."
They headed back along the easy route.
The tide was busy claiming the wreck once more.
They wandered their way back.
The wreck... (Again.)
😬
A Gull.
BEACH BUOY.
