SEATON CAREW UP IN THE DUNES.

Spade in hand

Sand in toes

Smile on face

Where time goes?

Old white tent

Plastic shoes

Boiled Eggs; bread

Sea and sky, the only blues

Head of blonde

Heart of fun

Starting life

Just begun

Sandy towels

Flasks of tea

Arcade Pennies

All for me

Building castles

Living dreams

On the front

Dripped Ice-Creams

BEACH BUOY

  1. it is odd.. the world has become smaller. we didn't live that far from Seaton Carew as children. Somehow then it felt miles away, when really we could have just walked there. Two buses? really? the No.7 into town then wait for the No.13 to Seaton Carew. The one time that I do remember walking there. It was down to Belle Vue, over the railway footbridge then still a huge hike to reach the village.
Walking directly from home would have been shorter. It was always a bit like flying to Amsterdam to reach the USA.
